Poetry with a Pulse
Poems for the parts that land in your body.
Poetry with a Pulse started because of Unearthing: Blood & Bone. Each poem is written to sit beside a chapter of the book and help you feel what the story stirs up in you. Listen before a chapter to open the door, or after it, when you need somewhere to put what it left behind.
How to listen
Every poem below is marked Before or After with its chapter. “After” poems may spoil what happens, so wait until you’ve read that chapter.
Track 1
Digestible
On making yourself small enough to swallow, and what happens when you stop. Also about alchemy, and being broken down into something new.
Pairs with: After the Prologue, before Chapter 1
More poems on the way
I’m recording the rest of the poems now. As each one is finished it lands here with its chapter.
Unearthing: Blood & Bone is an 18+ dark fantasy. Poetry with a Pulse lives at poetrywithapulse.net soon.
